First off let me say that if you are a very serious person who finds it hard to laugh, then this will not be the blog for you. Lately one of the topics in the news is our deficit problem along with border security down to our social security.
Well I think I have solved our problems! I believe if we implement this idea we could create a cash flow like no other!
Let me introduce you to the "Idiot" fines program. With all the public displays of random idiot acts, if fined could make our country billions! It's simple, we impose a fine of $1.00 to each person that displays an act of public idiocy.
The money is collected and every month a different group of ten volunteers will vote as to where that months total revenue will be applied. Whether it be put towards a nice big wall on our borders or to take care of our veterans needs, whatever is needed.
Now for some examples of public idiocy. If you feel the need to waste professionals time and sue a dry cleaners millions because they lost your pants, well you are an idiot and should be fined.
If you feel that serving your community is creating a committee that goes around and inspects neighborhood outdoor Christmas decorations....then you should be beatened, along with fined...well at least fined, corporal punishment would be another topic.
For our last example of public idiocy, if you feel the need to sit your fat ass down on an airplane toilet seat and reach behind and flush....well then your an idiot, and an even bigger idiot if you sue the airline claiming it's their fault your an idiot. It's not their fault you vacuum sealed your ass to the seat and sucked your cheeks into the very depths of the waste system.
It is not their fault your ass is scared for life, it is however your fault for scaring the people that had to remove pieces of your ass from the toilet waste area.
As for the courts that allowed the case to be heard, they should be fined as well, along with any media that spends more than 30 seconds on the story. No one is exempt from the "idiot" fine, schools, politicians, churches all shall be held accountable!

You spelled border wrong, you are fined $2.00. One for each misspell.
As far as the rvenue goes, we have enough of it, it just goes in the wrong places. If we fine more, the powers that be just get to mishandle it more and give it to things like NASA for them to blow up another space shuttle or have an exploratory experiment on the $50,000,000,000 space station that shows how gravity impacts the shape of a shit they took, and we sit here on earth with no school funds and people starving on the streets, or health care that the ENTIRE world laughs at because it actually bankrupts people that need medical procedures....or kills them, whatever makes more money. So as far as the money goes with the fines, they would build a wall that costs 1 trillion dollars and would be 3 inches high, give it to NASA to explode 10 astronauts and a 3 billion dollar shuttle (all on live TV), put the rest in the bank to have it somehow lose money in hopes of having it save social security so you can get it before your 90, or just blow it on drugs and hookers. I vote for the drugs and hookers myself, at least I would feel better that wasted money goes to that, I mean why try to sugar coat the reason for the money being gone.

If your idea ever takes off, can I be appointed an official "Idiot Patrol" person? I want a big shiny badge to flash at idiots when I catch them in the act or follow up on cases. I will be swift and just. We all pay way more than we have to for everything because some idiot ironed their shirt while wearing it or spilled coffee from McDonalds on themselves and got hurt...HELLO, IDIOT! I agree that if people used that little gem of brain power called COMMON SENSE we all would be much happier and life would be alot less stressfull. But no, some dumbass had to take a step back in the evolutionary growth of human intelligence and cost others tons of time and money because they don't want to admit or own up to their own stupidity.
